- Made from a special material which when carrying out an endoscopic examination with white light appears naturally red. After replacing with a fluorescent light source the bronchial tree appears green
- Endoscopic bronchoscopy can be practised using current techniques
- Supplied with AC9/7
- Vocal cords and ventral commissure
- Trachea; main bifurcation distally
- Right upper lobe bronchus; subsegments of RB 3 visible
- Main stem bronchi; branchings to the right upper lobe and middle lobe bronchi visible
- White light appearance of fluorescing bronchial tree: RB 9/10 spur with normal features
- Fluorescence bronchoscopic appearance of same spur as in Fig. 5 (RB 9/10): in the middle is a cold spot corresponding to a carcinoma in situ, visible only in fluorescence mode
