- Natural size
- The most important centres of the cerebral cortex have been marked in colour on the left hemisphere
- Cortex centres are numbered according to Broadman’s cytoarchitectural map of the human cerebral cortex:
- Red – primary and secondary motor
- Blue – sensory motor
- Specially indicated – cortical fields, different speech centres, auditory cortical fields and visual cortical fields, as well as the structures of the limbic system
- The three dimensional structure of the brain and the inter-relationship of the different cerebral areas become evident whilst taking the model apart
- Separates into 15 parts:
- Cerebral hemisphere (two)
- Temporal and occipital lobes with limbic system
- Cerebellum
- Frontal lobe
- Corpus callosum
- Brain stem (two)
