Taraxacum officinale, enlarged approx. 8 times, made in SOMSO-Plast. After Prof. Dr. W. Weber. Dandelions belong to the group of Compositae that only have ligulate flowers. The inflorescence is longitudinally sectioned. Further enlarged partial models portray a fruit with its pappus, an aid in dissemination, and a single ligulate flower. The individual flower and fruit can be removed from the base. With explanatory note. Height: 35 cm., width: 33 cm., depth: 18 cm., weight: 1.1 kg.
