Orchis militaris, enlarged 13 times, in SOMSO-Plast. After Prof. Dr. W. Weber. The model depicts the complicated structure of an orchid flower. The inferior ovary is turned in on itself and the perigonium consists of two triple jointed verticils. The median plane leaf of the inner verticil has been remodelled into a labial and extended into a spore at the back. The individual stamen is secured to the gynostemium with the style and stigma. The labial with the spore and gynostemium is detachable. Both pollinia can be removed with the adhesive disks. Separates into 5 parts. On a stand with explanatory note on the base. Height: 26 cm., width: 19 cm., depth: 32 cm., weight: 900 g.
